We are excited to release the public preview of Momentoコンソール: an intuitive web interface that streamlines API token retrieval via Single Sign-On and makes cache management even easier.

As cofounders of Momento, we’ve always believed in keeping things simple and focused. It’s what drove us to build a robust caching service that delivers blazing-fast performance and reliability to your applications—all implemented with just a few lines of code.

We have always believed in keeping the customer front and center, too: for us that’s developers. As developers ourselves, we know how easy it is to accomplish tasks using command-line interface, and we’ve been delighted by how quickly you’ve been able to start building on Momento with our SDKs. However, as our user base grows, it’s increasingly important to make the onboarding experience as seamless as possible. With Momento Console, we’re making things even simpler. Now, you can get started with Momento Cache with even fewer lines of code. It’s just a few clicks, and then you can start building—no need to worry about installing and configuring anything, and no more checking email for API tokens.

We’re excited about continuing to evolve where these north stars of simplicity and customer obsession lead us. And as mentioned, this is a public preview: we didn’t want to hold this offering back from users just because it’s in an early stage. There’s no better way to make something into what our customers want it to be than letting them use it! We have a lot more functionality planned in the coming months, and you will shape this with your feedback, but here’s a quick preview:

  1. Collection data types support: Manage data inside the full set of collection data types: lists, sets, dictionaries, and sorted sets.
  2. API token customization: You’ll soon be able to set expiry on API tokens according to the security best practices of your organization.
  3. AWS CloudWatch metrics: Monitor how much data is going to and from Momento in AWS CloudWatch, and get a peek behind the curtain at how hit rates, miss rates, and latencies measure up. Note: In the meantime, post in the support channel on Discord if you’re a Momento user on AWS. We can easily set up your metrics to export to a CloudWatch dashboard.

At Momento, we’re not just building a product; we’re building a community—a community of developers who are passionate about building faster, more efficient, and more powerful applications. We believe that Momento Console is an important part of that community, and we can’t wait to see what you create with it.

So go ahead, give it a spin, and let us know what you think over on our Discord!
