Which Valkey versions does the image support?
The Momento Valkey Enterprise Image tracks current stable Valkey releases and applies CVE patches on an accelerated cadence. Specific version availability and support windows are listed in the documentation.
How does the Data Tiering Module decide what to keep in RAM vs. on disk?
The module uses a configurable eviction policy in memory, while asynchronously persisting all written data to NVMe or remote sinks. Hot data stays in RAM; cold data is transparently moved to the cheaper tier. Applications use the standard Valkey API throughout, the tiering is invisible to clients.
What OTel backends does the Observability Module support?
The module emits standard OpenTelemetry metrics, making it compatible with any OTel-capable backend, including Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Honeycomb, and others. No vendor-specific instrumentation is required.
Does removing Lua scripting break compatibility with existing clients?
Any client that uses EVAL, EVALSHA, or related commands will need to migrate those workloads to server-side functions or application-level logic before adopting the Enhanced Security Package. The documentation includes a migration guide.
Can add-ons be combined?
