Security

Here at Momento, we're all about trust. As a service provider, we want you to trust that we have your back when it comes to data integrity, security, elasticity, and developer experience. Your success is our success.

There's plenty on your plate as a builder already, the last thing you need is trust issues. You need reputable vendors who have proven time and time again they can handle demand and have your best interest at heart. It's 2024, and app developers should be spending their time being creative and solving business problems. Not struggling with infrastructure, adding unnecessary complexity to their applications, and reading unclear documentation for unintuitive APIs.

With that in mind, I am thrilled to announce that Momento is one of the first verified APIs on Postman! We've worked meticulously to reach the high standard required for the coveted “blue checkmark.”

What does this mean?

In today's world, “verified” could mean a lot of things. It could mean that we paid money to be shown more often or that we've reached a certain number of followers. In the case of Postman verified teams, it's neither of those things.

Certified Momento

For one, you can trust the documentation, examples, and quick starts you discover in Postman are from us. Whenever you search for Momento or stumble upon a collection guiding you through updating items in our Cache service or publishing a message to Topics, look for the blue check next to our name. If it's there, that's us! If it's not… get out of there!

Improved usability

Have you ever tried to use an API only to give up before getting authenticated for the first time? It can be a struggle to get started with a new API - there are lots of docs to read and domains to understand. Hopefully you don’t have this problem with Momento, but if you do, you can now enjoy an enhanced user experience whenever you enter the base url of our API in Postman.

Postman will guide you through authorization setup to get you to your first 200 OK faster than ever. On top of that, you’ll now get provided with related requests when using the Momento HTTP API, which recommends other endpoints and how to use them to build workflows quickly and effectively.

High quality promise

Getting verified in Postman is a long and arduous task. We went through many rounds of documentation review, UX research, and refining before we earned that blue checkmark. The verification is a sign of excellence in user experience, and that is our ongoing commitment to you. We will continue to bring intuitive APIs and fun documentation to the table to make it as easy as possible to build on Momento.

Final thoughts

We are so happy to be one of the forty Postman verified teams on launch day. To say we are humbled to be recognized as an exceptional API provider is an understatement.

If you’d like to check out what we have available in Postman, you can find it on our profile. We also have additional documentation on our HTTP API in the Momento dev docs.

If you have any recommendations or suggestions for enhancements to our API, please let us know on Discord.

Happy coding!
